Save emails to OneNote

  • Save any email to OneNote by sending it to me@onenote.com.


  1. Choose your email address
    Select email addresses you want to use for saving OneNote emails.

  2. Choose your destination
    Choose the default notebook and section where your emails will be saved.
  3. Email content
    Send an email to me@onenote.com to save it directly in OneNote. You can access the emails you saved in OneNote from any of your devices.

    Keep track of your upcoming travel plans in OneNote by forwarding your flight and hotel confirmation emails.
  • Quick note to yourself
    Jot down a thought or task for later and save it to OneNote.
  • Receipts
    Save online purchase receipts to make filing and finding them easy.

    Save an email you might want to revisit later from another device.

  • Can I send emails from a non-Microsoft email address?
    Yes, you can add any email address you own to your Microsoft account and enable it for this feature.
  • Where are my emails saved?
    You can change your default save location on the Settings page. You can also pick a different section to save an individual email by including the "@" symbol followed by the section name in the subject line of your email.
